Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage GCP Data Storage and Processing Services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer.
• Orchestrate end-to-end data pipelines using tools like Cloud Composer, ensuring efficient and reliable data workflows.
• Design, build, and manage complex and reusable data pipelines to handle diverse data processing needs.
• Develop and maintain real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines on GCP to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
• Manage multi-tenanted data platforms, ensuring data segregation, security, and efficient resource usage.
• Automate data processing tasks using scripting languages such as Python to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services and features, evaluating their potential use in the organization’s data infrastructure to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, specifically with GCP Data Storage and Processing Services.
• Proficiency in BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and scripting languages like Python.
• Proven experience in orchestrating and managing complex data pipelines, including real-time and batch processing.
• Experience in designing and managing multi-tenanted data platforms.
• Strong skills in automating data processing tasks to streamline workflows.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, at a C1 level.
• Commitment to staying current with GCP services and features and applying them to enhance data infrastructure.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain.
