Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Technical Analyst to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing mainframe systems, ensuring efficient batch and online processes, and managing data migration and regeneration projects. Your expertise in mainframe technologies and experience in technical projects will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing our mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze consumption and performance of mainframe systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Optimize batch and online processes to enhance efficiency and reduce resource consumption.
• Manage data migration and regeneration projects, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
• Develop and maintain communication/interfaces within and outside the mainframe environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mainframe systems.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mainframe technologies.

Required Skills 

1. Experience: maAt least 3 years of experience in mainframe technologies and technical projects (other than application development).
2. Technical Expertise:
   • In-depth knowledge of mainframe systems and technologies.
   • Experience with consumption analysis and optimization of batch and online processes.
   • Proficiency in managing data migration and regeneration projects.
   • Ability to develop and maintain communication/interfaces within and outside the mainframe.
3. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
4. Communication: Effective communication skills with a B2 level of English proficiency.
5. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
6. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and challenges in a fast-paced environment.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain.
