Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Domain Architect to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mainframe and distributed environments to lead and execute modernization and optimization projects. Your knowledge of market solutions such as Cloudframe, G4 Platform, Bluage, Microfocus Enterprise Analyzer, InfoSphere, Rocket, and others will be crucial in driving our initiatives forward and enhancing our mainframe infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of mainframe modernization and optimization projects.
• Analyze existing mainframe architectures and distributed environments to identify areas for improvement and modernization.
• Implement market solutions and tools (e.g., Cloudframe, G4 Platform, Bluage, Microfocus Enterprise Analyzer, InfoSphere, Rocket) to enhance system performance and integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement modernization strategies that align with business objectives.
• Ensure seamless integration of mainframe systems with modern distributed environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mainframe and distributed system architectures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mainframe and distributed technologies and apply them to ongoing projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Domain Architect with a focus on mainframe architectures and distributed environments.
2. Technical Expertise:
   • In-depth knowledge of mainframe architectures and their integration with distributed environments.
   • Proven experience in modernization and optimization projects.
   • Familiarity with market solutions and tools such as Cloudframe, G4 Platform, Bluage, Microfocus Enterprise Analyzer, InfoSphere, Rocket, etc.
3. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
4. Communication: Effective communication skills with a B2 level of English proficiency.
5. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
6. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and challenges in a fast-paced environment.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain.
