Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced GCP Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex data pipelines using GCP tools and services. Your expertise in Python, BigQuery, Dataproc, and Composer will be essential in building robust real-time and batch data ingestion processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency across our data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, and Composer.
• Orchestrate end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
• Manage complex, reusable pipelines that support various data processing tasks and requirements.
• Build real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines to handle diverse data sources and formats.
• Develop and maintain multi-tenant data platforms, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Automate data processing tasks using scripting languages such as Python.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services and features, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Python: Proficiency in Python for scripting and automating data processing tasks.
2. GCP Services: Hands-on experience with GCP data services, including BigQuery, Dataproc, and Composer.
3. Data Pipelines: Expertise in designing and orchestrating end-to-end data pipelines.
4. Batch and Real-Time Ingestion: Experience in building both real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines.
5. Multi-Tenant Platforms: Experience in managing multi-tenant data platforms, ensuring scalability and security.
6. Automation: Ability to automate data processing tasks using scripting languages.
7. Innovation: Stay current with GCP updates and integrate new services and features into existing solutions.
8. Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges.
10. Communication: Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts and collaborate with stakeholders.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain.
