Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Technical Analyst with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. You will be responsible for executing technical, optimization, and mainframe modernization projects. Your expertise in CICS, COBOL, DB2, Host, and JCL will be crucial in driving these projects to success. Proficiency in English (B2 level) is essential for effective communication within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute mainframe modernization and optimization projects.
• Perform technical analysis to understand and define project requirements.
• Develop, test, and implement solutions using CICS, COBOL, DB2, Host, and JCL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and implement improvements to enhance system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain the efficiency and reliability of mainframe systems.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English (B2 level).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Mainframe Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in mainframe technologies, including CICS, COBOL, DB2, Host, and JCL.
2. Modernization Projects: Proven experience in executing mainframe modernization and optimization projects.
3. Technical Analysis: Strong skills in performing technical analysis and defining project requirements.
4. Development and Testing: Experience in developing, testing, and implementing mainframe solutions.
5. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
6. Communication Skills: Proficiency in English (B2 level) to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
7. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
8. Optimization: Experience in identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing system improvements.

About the projects you will work on

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain.
