Position Overview: We are looking for experienced Backend Engineers to join our team. As a Senior Backend Development Developer, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining backend systems using a variety of technologies. Your role will involve working with Java, Fabric, Oracle, Microservices, BDD/TDD, Drools, and Spring Boot, while ensuring clean code and high-quality output. Proficiency in English (C1 level) is required for effective communication within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java, Fabric, and Oracle.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
• Apply BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development) methodologies.
• Implement business rules using Drools.
• Utilize Spring Boot for application development.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by following clean code principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in backend development with a focus on the specified technologies.
2. Java & Fabric: Strong expertise in Java and Fabric for backend development.
3. Database Knowledge: Proficiency in Oracle.
4. Microservices: Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices.
5. BDD/TDD: Experience with Behavior-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development.
6. Drools: Knowledge of Drools for business rule management.
7. Spring Boot: Extensive experience with Spring Boot for building applications.
8. Clean Code: Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
9. Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail and quality in all aspects of development.
10. English Proficiency: Good command of English (B2level) for effective communication.

Nice to Have:

• Spark Knowledge: Familiarity with Apache Spark.
• Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
