Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Backend Development Developer with a minimum of 4 years of Java experience and a strong background in Test-Driven Development (TDD). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience implementing TDD in scenarios where features do not yet exist. This role demands a high level of problem-solving skills, particularly in handling concurrency, request-response time variability, Spring Boot database access, multi-threading, and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java with a focus on TDD.
• Implement TDD scenarios for new features, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to concurrency, request-response time variability, Spring Boot database access, multi-threading, and root causes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing services for better performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend development and TDD.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Java Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java.
2. TDD Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), particularly in implementing scenarios for features that do not yet exist.
3. Complex Problem Solving: Ability to understand and solve complex problems, particularly related to concurrency, request-response time variability, Spring Boot database access, multi-threading, and root cause analysis.
4. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
5. Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuously improving and optimizing services.
6. English Proficiency: Proficiency in English at a C1 level for effective communication.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
