Job Description:

As a Backend Development Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and infrastructure. You will work with a team of talented engineers to build scalable microservices and integrate them with cloud platforms. Your role will involve utilizing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and various development tools to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on cloud-based services.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Experience with backend frameworks, particularly Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud, but also AWS or Azure.
• Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with SDLC tools, including GitHub, JIRA, and Artifactory.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Understanding of secure coding practices and experience with security frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using microservices architecture.
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Utilize DevOps practices and infrastructure as code to automate deployment and management of infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with other components of the system.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and cloud services.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
