Job Description:
As a Backend Development Developer, you will be responsible for managing the software delivery process, ensuring that all quality and scope expectations are met. You will work with distributed infrastructure systems and client-server architectures, utilizing your expertise in various backend technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and beyond.
- Ensure that software delivery meets quality and scope expectations.
- Take pride in delivering high-quality results and craftsmanship.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of distributed infrastructure systems and client-server architectures.
- Work with backend technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, Java, npm packaging, and RESTful APIs.
- Leverage your experience with IBM API Connect and StrongLoop (a plus).
- Maintain excellent working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Employ agile methodologies and TDD (test-driven development).
- Use JavaScript libraries (React preferred, JQuery, AngularJS) in your development process.
Mandatory Skills:
- JavaScript
