Job Description:

As a Backend/Middleware Developer, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining applications that are crucial to our operations. You will be involved in every phase of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Your expertise in Java will help us build robust and scalable solutions, while your commitment to continuous improvement will keep us at the forefront of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Create high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems using Java.
• Full Software Lifecycle: Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Efficient Code: Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Compliance and Quality: Ensure that designs adhere to specifications and quality standards.
• Release Management: Prepare and produce software releases.
• Continuous Improvement: Investigate alternative technologies and present them for architectural review.
• Collaboration: Work closely with fellow engineers, web developers, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer (at least 3 years in the last 5 years).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to write efficient, high-quality, and testable code.
• Familiarity with compliance and quality standards in software development.
• Experience in preparing and producing software releases.
• Ability to investigate and propose alternative technologies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• High proficiency in English (C1 level).

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
