We are seeking a New Relic Expert
- Manage and optimize GCP data infrastructure, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Leverage your expertise in GCP Data Services (BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, GCS) to support and enhance our data systems.
- Design and implement advanced cloud logging and monitoring strategies using tools like Cloud Logging and New Relic.
- Create and maintain monitoring and metrics dashboards using Google Cloud Operations (GCO).
- Continuously assess and improve data infrastructure and processes to enhance reliability, efficiency, and performance.
- Define and implement alerting policies, including User Journeys, SLI, SLO, SLA, and overall alerting strategy.
- Manage GCP Cloud Logging processes such as collection, routing, log-based metrics, exporting logs, and performing log analytics on Google Cloud.
- Develop a robust alerting system to proactively identify and resolve issues in data systems and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data SRE or similar role, with a strong focus on GCP data infrastructure management.
- Ideally, knowledge and hands-on experience with GCP Data Services, including BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and GCS.
- Advanced expertise in cloud logging and monitoring using tools like Cloud Logging and New Relic.
- Proficiency in creating and managing monitoring and metrics dashboards using GCO.
- Strong ability to assess and improve data infrastructure for enhanced reliability, efficiency, and performance.
- Experience in defining alerting policies, including User Journeys, SLI, SLO, and SLA, along with a comprehensive alerting strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of GCP Cloud Logging, including collection, routing, log-based metrics, exporting logs, and performing log analytics on Google Cloud.
- Ability to implement a robust alerting system to proactively detect and resolve issues within data systems and infrastructure.
