Job Description:

As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, high-performance backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions, and participate actively in Agile ceremonies. The role is based in Valencia and offers the opportunity to contribute to key software projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 8.
• Work with Oracle databases to ensure efficient data management.
• Utilize Weblogic for application deployment and server management.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and high-quality product delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Continuously improve and optimize code for performance and scalability.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java 8 programming.
• Solid experience with Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with Weblogic server administration.
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, with a minimum of B2 level proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
