Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical analysis and coding expertise primarily in Java (Spring Boot) for APIs and microservices.
• Ownership and maintenance of an existing Java application, ensuring ongoing improvement and stability.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of software creation, from initial analysis to development, testing, and deployment.
• Track and report project progress, identify risks and potential bottlenecks, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues.
• Ensure software solutions comply with the organization’s standards for methodology, security, technology, and best practices.
• Analyze and improve existing software to align it with current business needs and IT infrastructure.

Mandatory Skills and Requirements:

• Java (17) and Spring Boot (3 or higher) expertise, with a solid foundation in Object-Oriented principles.
• Security Knowledge: Experience with SAML and/or OAuth2.0 authentication protocols.
• Experience with YAML files and working with YAML APIs.
• Previous experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role, with familiarity across common stacks.
• Strong understanding of the Spring Framework and RESTful API principles.
• Proficiency in microservice architecture and working with distributed systems.
• Experience with unit testing using tools like Postman and Cucumber.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English (C1 level).
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
