Key Responsibilities:

  • Refactor and improve legacy processes to enhance efficiency and align with modern cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Conduct gap analysis, data comparison, and quality checks across large datasets.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies.
  • Write and interpret medium to complex SQL queries to support analytical tasks.
  • Work within Hadoop ecosystems (HUE, Impala, Hive) to maintain data pipelines.
  • Use Excel for data management and reporting tasks.
  • Ensure all processes meet high data quality standards while driving process improvements.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience working with large datasets and conducting data comparison and gap analysis .
  • Strong ability to write, read, and optimize SQL queries .
  • Expertise in Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Experience working in Hadoop ecosystems (HUE, Impala, Hive).
  • Hands-on experience with investigating data quality mismatches and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent in both English (C1 level) and Spanish (Advanced level) .
  • Able to collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure seamless data management.

Nice to Have:

  • A good understanding of Spark for data processing.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain.
