About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team. This position requires a strong background in AS400 systems and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions. You will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and developing applications to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the AS400 platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing applications, ensuring system reliability.
• Contribute to system architecture planning and optimization strategies.
• Document processes, workflows, and system changes for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Mainframe Developer, with strong expertise in AS400 .
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to development.
• English proficiency is not a requirement but is a plus.

About the projects you will work on

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.

You will work on projects with a leading company in digital transformation with a passion for technology and innovation in sectors such as banking (35 of the main banks worldwide work with our client), insurance, industrial and automotive in Big Data projects, Blockchain, AI , Cloud, among others.
