Data / Data Analysis and Modelling - Technical Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Design and develop event-driven architectures and distributed messaging systems.
  • Implement and optimize real-time event processing pipelines.
  •  Manage and scale event-driven infrastructure using tools like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  •  Optimize performance and cost of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  •  Integrate event-processing solutions with microservices and scalable architectures.
  •  Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to enhance system efficiency.
  •  Monitor performance and availability of event-driven systems in production.
  •  Ensure robustness and stability of event infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience implementing event-driven architectures in production.
  •  Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ in production environments.
  •  Strong knowledge of real-time distributed systems scalability and optimization.
  •  Experience with microservices architectures and streaming data processing.
  •  Proficiency in orchestration tools (Openshift, Docker) and cloud services (AWS).
  •  Understanding of event-driven databases and optimized storage.
  •  Strong programming skills in Java.
  •  Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  •  Experience with stream processing frameworks (Apache Flink, Spark Streaming).
  •  Knowledge of latency optimization and resilience techniques for distributed systems.
  •  Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis, Memcached) for real-time performance.
  •  Experience with Golang and/or Python.
  •  Contributions to open-source event infrastructure projects.
  •  Knowledge of online inference technologies (TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, Triton Inference Server, TorchServe).
  •  Experience integrating inference models into event-driven architectures.

Work Conditions:

Location: On-site presence twice a week in Las Tablas, Madrid.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
