Job Description:

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a core team responsible for defining guidelines, architectural standards, and best practices for CIB projects migrating to the cloud. You will work closely with project teams, advising and supporting their cloud onboarding — primarily on Microsoft Azure, but also on AWS and GCP when needed.

You’ll play a pivotal role in:

• Helping teams design and implement cloud-native solutions.

• Supporting the operationalization of cloud services.

• Ensuring new cloud implementations align with the bank’s governance and security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define cloud best practices and onboarding processes for CIB initiatives.

• Support project teams in designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud architectures.

• Provide technical guidance across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments (Azure preferred).

• Help "operationalize" cloud services in ongoing projects — ensuring proper integration, automation, and monitoring.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise-level security, compliance, and DevOps standards.

Requirements:

•  3+ years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
•  Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure (experience in AWS and/or GCP is a plus).
•  Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and support.
•  Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
•  Experience working with enterprise cloud adoption journeys, ideally in the financial or CIB sector.
•  Ability to explain complex cloud concepts in a structured and approachable way.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.

You will work on projects with a leading company in digital transformation with a passion for technology and innovation in sectors such as banking (35 of the main banks worldwide work with our client), insurance, industrial and automotive in Big Data projects, Blockchain, AI , Cloud, among others.
