As a DevOps Specialist in zDevOps, you’ll be responsible for modernizing and automating the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within an IBM Z Mainframe ecosystem. You’ll work closely with development, operations, and architecture teams to implement robust CI/CD pipelines, manage dependencies, and ensure the smooth integration of DevOps methodologies across mainframe applications.
You’ll leverage your expertise in tools like COBOL, JCL, REXX, DB2, DBB, ZUnit, and Changeman, along with version control systems and pipeline automation tools to drive efficiency and modernization.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for mainframe environments using DevOps best practices.
Develop and maintain automation for build and deployment processes.
Support and modernize development workflows using Git, branching strategies, and dependency management.
Collaborate with developers and operations teams to improve delivery speed and software quality.
Contribute to the design, documentation, and analysis of software lifecycle processes.
Manage and integrate mainframe components and tools such as COBOL, JCL, REXX, DB2, ZUnit, and Changeman.
Optionally, work with tools like Endevor, ZD&T, and z/OS to further enhance system automation and testing.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
